Welcome to Montana.

Today was a nice day with clear skies at a temperature slightly above seventy degrees. Besides my website crashing this morning for several hours I have nothing to complain about, not even the weather. As for the rest of this past week, that is another story. Sunday was alright I guess with highs in the mid eighties, which to most people would be great, but I personally prefer cold weather. This really turned me off when the temperature reached a high ninety one degrees on Monday.
I know this story may sound weird coming from a guy who is going to be moving to Texas soon. Sure, I’ll miss the snow while I’m there but you have to admit, Texas is a fun state.
Even though I do like cold weather, I think what happened on Tuesday would make anyone cringe. I woke up in the morning at the usual time to go to work and realized that it was overcast. Good, I thought, maybe it would be a little cooler today than yesterdays near one hundred degree day. Needless to say I was correct in that assumption. I was actually more than correct when I went outside and realized it was raining and I should probably wear a coat; no, not a jacket, a coat. Keep in mind it was still August on Tuesday.
I made it through another day of slave labor, or work as some call it and walked outside to see that the sun was peaking out from behind some thick brown clouds. My office is about one or two miles from a mountain range. It’s not that tall of a mountain range, and in Montana terms they are probably considered hills. I’ll get to the point.
There was snow on the hills.
Yes. If I were to have hiked a short five hundred feet from the base, I could have skied my way down. Today was another seventy degree day. Welcome to Montana.
